  • 3rd Symposium on Trends in Unstructured Mesh Generation, August 1-4, 2001, Hyatt Regency Dearborn, Dearborn, Michigan, USA (part of the US National Congress on Computational Mechanics).

  • The OFEA-2001 conference in St.-Petersburg, Russia, June 25-29, includes a minisymposium Grid Generation: New Trends and applications in real-world simulations.

  • CTH'01, an international symposium on advances in computational heat transfer, has a special session on grid generation (Palm Cove, Queensland, Australia, 20-25 May, 2001).

  • The International Workshop on Computational Geometry and Applications, in conjunction with the International Conference on Computational Science 2001, will be held in San Francisco, USA, May 28-31, 2001.

  • Construction of Grid Generation Algorithms, annual GAMM seminar, Max-Planck-Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, Leipzig, Germany, February 1-3, 2001.

  • Mesh Generation for High Performance Computing: Current Trends and Applications. A full day (6 hours) tutorial that will be presented at the SC2000 High Performance Computing Conference, Dallas, Texas, November 4-10, 2000.

  • The 7th International Conference on Numerical Grid Generation in Computational Field Simulations will be held at Chateau Whistler Resort, Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, September 25-28, 2000.

  • The 9th International Meshing Roundtable took place October 2-5, 2000 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

  • The VIII All-Russian Workshop on GRID GENERATION for Numerical Solution of the Problems of Mathematical Physics will be held in second half of July 2000 in Scientific Center Puschino near Moscow and will be devoted to the memory of academician A.F.Sidorov.   • 16th IMACS World Congress 2000 on Scientific Computation, Applied Mathematics and Simulation Lausanne, Switzerland August 21-25, 2000.

  • ACM Symposium on Computational Geometry 2000 will Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, June 12 - June 14, 2000. The conference featured an applied track, a theoretical track, as well as a video review, and a Computational Topology Workshop.

  • The 2000 SIAM annual meeting, Puerto Rico, July 10-14, has several sessions on grid generation methods.

  • The y2k edition of the von Karman Institute 31th Computational Fluid Dynamics lecture series focused on grid generation and solution adaptive mesh algorithms for high Reynolds number Navier-Stokes simulation (March 20-24 2000, Brussels, Belgium).
